Integrated teams across the United States, Canada and our Multinational desk
For more than 15 years, Gracie Point has specialized in life insurance premium financing and liquidity solutions for the high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth markets. We were formed as an alternative to the traditional bank channels — a niche lender with deep industry expertise, delivering concierge service without requiring cross-marketed products or services.
United States
Since launching in 2010, the platform has originated more than $4 billion of premium finance commitments, with the advisor and client experience at the center of every case.
Multinational
In 2017, responding to demand for a non-relationship lender, the company expanded into Asia with a Hong Kong headquarters, delivering multinational planning structures for globally mobile families.
Canada
A Toronto office opened in 2020 to serve the growing needs of the North American cross-border markets.
Understanding the Risks
Financing a premium is leverage, and leverage cuts both ways. Any advisor structuring a financed case should be able to explain all four of these to their client.
Interest rate
When borrowing costs rise, interest payments will increase and additional collateral may be required.
The advisor should explain the movements of the financial markets and review the long-term impact on the loan. Sensitivity analysis should be performed to provide clarity. These transactions are designed for the long term; short-term movements may heighten a client’s concern, and they should be aware of those dynamics from the outset.
Policy performance
As the principal form of collateral, cash value can underperform, which may require additional collateral.
The insurance advisor should understand the financial plan and the client’s forecast balance sheet, and discuss the methodology for funding collateral. This is critical, as the policy structure can also be arranged to provide higher levels of collateral. Servicing the debt also mitigates long-term collateral exposure substantially.
Exit strategy
Entering into these loans without discussing and designing an exit strategy increases the loan risk and reduces the long-term economic result.
Exit strategies should be built into the financial planning process. The client’s balance sheet planning, coordinated with the policy, can be an effective method of reducing or retiring the outstanding loan.
External collateral
Pledged assets fluctuate in value and can affect the overall loan-to-value ratio, requiring additional collateral.
Collateral composition should be compiled carefully to match the client’s asset management profile. Actively managed assets alone are typically not a desirable asset class to support these lending arrangements. The client should be aware of the levels and expected duration of external collateral.

Privacy notice
How GP Life Solutions collects, uses and protects personal information submitted through this website.
Who we are
GP Life Solutions (“we”, “us”) provides life insurance premium financing to and through licensed intermediaries. Our international lending is conducted through Gracie Point International, Limited. This notice covers personal information we collect through this website. REPLACE — insert the registered entity name, address, and the contact details of the person responsible for privacy inquiries.
What we collect
When you submit a quote request we collect the information you give us: your name, business email address, firm, telephone number where provided, and the case details you choose to enter — carrier, product type, premium amount, region and planning objective.
We ask you not to submit client names, medical information, identification numbers or other sensitive personal data through this form. Information needed for underwriting is collected separately and securely by a specialist.
Our hosting provider may also record standard technical information such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, for security and to keep the site running.
Why we use it
We use the information you submit to respond to your inquiry, to prepare an indication of financing terms, and to carry out the compliance, sanctions and anti-money-laundering checks required of a regulated lender. Where you have asked us to, we may also send you material about our lending programs. You can ask us to stop at any time.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with insurance carriers, agencies or advisory firms for their own marketing.
Who we share it with
We may share information with our sister companies, GP Loan Servicing and Gracie Point Holdings, where they are involved in structuring, funding or servicing a facility; with service providers who host our systems or process applications on our behalf, under contract; with funding partners where financing is arranged rather than provided directly by us; and with regulators, auditors or law enforcement where we are legally required to do so.
Where information is held
We operate in the United States, Canada and Hong Kong, so information may be transferred between those jurisdictions. Where such transfers are subject to data protection law, we put appropriate safeguards in place. REPLACE — confirm hosting locations and transfer mechanisms with counsel.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry information for as long as needed to respond and, where a facility proceeds, for as long as the loan is outstanding plus any period required by law or by our regulators. REPLACE — insert the retention period your compliance policy sets.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to withdraw consent to marketing. Residents of the EU and UK, California, Canada and Hong Kong each have specific rights under their own legislation. To make a request, contact us using the details below. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

Security
We apply technical and organizational measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the information we hold. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so please do not send sensitive personal or financial details by email or through this form.

We may update this notice from time to time. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last revised.

Apply for financing
A secure application: advisor information, client information, case information, document upload, and electronic submission.
Document upload is why this isn't a page
The moment an advisor uploads trust documents, financial statements or identification, this stops being a website and becomes an application: encrypted storage, access control, retention policy and an audit trail.
It also needs a backend to hold a part-finished application between sessions, because nobody completes a financing application in one sitting.
In the meantime, request a quote captures enough to start, and documents are collected securely by the specialist.
Advisor portal
Application tracking, loan status, secure messaging, outstanding requirements and a document vault.
This is a software product, not a page
Authentication, a database, encrypted file storage, per-advisor access control and an audit trail — with a security review before any advisor uploads a client's identification.
- Secure document upload
- Application tracking and loan status
- Secure messaging with the case team
- Outstanding requirements checklist
Once it exists, the Portal button in the header signs advisors straight in.
